Album for a Cause

I started Album for a Cause when one of Destiny's classmates was diagnosed with Leukemia. I wanted to help this 12 year old with his medical bills, but the cash flow in the Kendall household is barely a trickle. So my thought was to pick out one of the albums I made and put it in a raffle. I went to a crop in China at the Masonic Hall and raffled it off. I was hoping to get at least $15 for the raffle and was very surprised to raise much more than that! Thank you ladies! Your generosity it breathtaking! I raised $65 for the soon to be teen. Thank you Jesus! This was the album that was donated. All the proceeds will be taken to the school and given to the Principal after vacation ends.

Hello Everyone!

Here is a Christmas Album using a K & Co. paper packet. I have used cardstock for the pages instead of paper bags (couldn't find the size I wanted). This album was very easy to make and allows for some good sized pictures to be included in it.

This is the inside of the album. I have many tags that can incorporate even more pictures or journaling.

Baby shower gift

I made this for my hubby's co-worker. They are expecting a girl and wanted a pink themed baby shower. Hope they like this.

Morning at the Kendall residence

This is the site that greeted me this morning. How beautiful looking out over the horizon.



We have had much snow as you can see. Hoping we will not get any more until next Christmas.

Time

Time goes by so fast these days. Trying to fit in so many activities with the girls I seem to forget to post on here.

This year is going to be a "gifts from the heart". It is not HOW much you spend but HOW much LOVE you put into the effort. I am making gifts for my family and friends. Some have already recieved their gifts, and others will be getting them later.

The girls are making their own Christmas cards to give to classmates and teachers this year. And I am teaching them how to make cute gifts to give as well. We will be picking up some lollypops to decorate and give away for starters. Not sure what else we will find today.

MIA

Sorry I have been MIA for so long! I have been a busy little bee (hence the no posting), but have accomplished a few things on my "to do list". Yippee!

The girls have been enjoying school and I have enjoyed them being there! Nothing like being honest here! LOL.

I will post pics of things I have worked on later.
