A Birthday card for Dad

I wanted to make a really special card for my Dad. His birthday is August 15 and he will be 77 years young. So I colored an image from Penny Black, added stickles for the bubbles and used liquid glass for the tub and the bowl to make it look ceramic.

I wanted the inside to POP! So I made the happy birthday pop up when the card is opened.

This one shows how i did it, just made 2 slits about an inch in width to glue the happy birthday sign on.

Not sure you can see the glitter or not but it sure does sparkle.

Love you Dad.

Love that paper! How are your grand-daughters? I have a friend who is going to start to raise her 5-month of grandson. She is beyond thrilled to raise him.
