I'm Back!

First of all I want to thank everyone for the prayers and the best wishes. I came home Friday, sore tired and glad to have my pain pills handy. My surgery was a complete success! I can honestly say childbirth was much easier than this. I certainly do NOT want to go through this again, so I shall be a good girl, and do as the Doc says. I have a 2 week and a 4 week exam with him, so I am sure he will let me know how I am doing and what to expect.

The girls, wanted to know how many stitches I have and told them honestly I do not know. I know I had about 8 staples with some stitches that will dissolve under them. The hospital stay was pleasant, the crew most friendly and willing to help. The food was good, which was a surprise to me, as I remembered hospital food back 30 plus years ago as not the best tasting.

I am still resting well, and not doing much of anything. I will be coloring some images when I am able to sit up for longer periods of time, and in the meantime, I am enjoying the sitting around doing not so much.

I still tire easily, and feel the need to lay down for more resting and perhaps a nap as well.

Have a blessed day.

Hi Kat....Glad you are back home and that your stay at the hospital was as pleasant as you deserve. It's great when people take good care of your needs after an ordeal as serious as yours.
LOL about the hospital food!! I'm a little older than you and I also remember how the hospital food was back then....nothing like it is now, that is for sure!! LOL
Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comment.
When I read your bio, it sounded like it was me.....lol.....and when I tell folks that I don't really enjoy watching movies, they usually reply with an astonished "Your kidding!! Why?!" and I tell them the same thing you wrote in your blog......"Because I fall asleep and never see the end!" LOL
Have a marvelous week ahead and a speedy recovery.
Hugs and blessings to you.....

Kat, I am sooooo glad everything went well. It has been a week now since your surgery. You will be noticing that you are feeling better now. You may even think you could do something. Please do something easy, nonstrenuous, like coloring you images for your cards. I know that is probably what you are doing. LOL I love you Sis. I looking forward to you being back on your feet again, fully healed. Love you and continuously praying for you and yours.
